Free People Maxi Dress at the Trevi Fountain

[ann]Dress: Free People (wearing xxs) | Shoes: Vince (obsessed with these) | Bag: Madewell | Earrings: Nordstrom[/ann]

Happy Thursday, friends!  I’ve been so excited to share this Free People maxi dress with you since I ordered it for our Italy trip.  I knew I was going to love it from the second I saw it, and when I got it in person it was even better than I imagined!  The fabric is the most lightweight, soft fabric…so perfect for Summer.  And it’s under $100!  Honestly, I think I may need it in both the red color, and the blue and white version as well.  It is the ultimate Summer dress!

I actually wore it twice on our trip to Italy, and this day in Rome was one of the hottest.  I’m sure you know that if you visit a European country, you’re going to be doing a lot of walking, and this day was one of the most!  I think we walked about 11 miles!  I wore this dress all day and was perfectly comfortable.

Honestly, these sneakers made the biggest difference though!  I brought 6 or 7 pairs of shoes on our vacation, but wore these almost every day.  I was unsure about the investment that I was making when I bought them, but they definitely were worth every penny on this trip.  If you have a trip coming up and are looking for a pair of sneakers that you can wear with everything (shorts, dresses, jeans…I mean everything)…this is the pair you need!!!!

Hope you are having a great week!  Thank you so much for stopping by!  xx, Daryl-Ann
