Aside from booties, my favorite type of shoes to wear this time of year are over-the-knee boots! At first they were totally a trend that I wasn’t sure I could get behind. I bought my first pair of over-the-knee boots about 2 years ago, and was not willing to spend a lot due to the fact that I wasn’t sure how much use I would get out of them. This was the first pair I bought, and to my surprise, I wore them a few times a week…minimum! They instantly dressed up almost any outfit I paired them with and made it look so much more stylish without even having to try.
The following year (last year) I decided to make the investment in a high-quality pair (these!) because I knew how much wear I would get out of them. Needless to say, about three weeks after splurging on my first pair Stuart Weitzman’s, I found myself with a second pair 😂. Now they are the easily the boots I reach for most in my closet, and are totally worth the investment.
But today’s post is for those of you in the same boat I was in a couple of years ago: unsure as to whether investing in over-the-knee boots is a smart decision or if you’ll actually even wear them. Even inexpensive over-the-knee boots are not cheap, so today I’m rounding up the best 10 over-the-knee boots under $150.
The pair I’m wearing in this outfit here are probably my top pick of all ten because of how comfortable they are. They technically are $163, but almost always have a discount code dropping them well below that $150 mark. They come in black suede, tan suede, and taupe suede. I have the black and tan! They are extremely comfortable if you aren’t able to wear high heels, and look much more expensive than they actually are. Sizing tip: these come in European sizes which run a bit small. I am a true 6.5 and am wearing a 37 in these boots and they fit perfectly. If you are in between sizes, I would go with the larger!
