As I look back on this past year, though it was our hardest yet, I am so grateful.  Grateful for all the Lord allowed in, both good and bad, grateful for all He taught us, grateful for how far we’ve come.  To look back to January and see where we are now, blows my mind.  Tragedies worse than I could have imagined, and blessings just as incredible.  The Lord gives and He takes away, and this year has really been defined by that principle for us.

This little blog was something He put on my heart back in January [and even before], and even though I wasn’t able to start Something Beautiful until July, to see where it is now blows my mind.  I am honored, truly, that He would bless me like He has!  And so grateful for each and every one of you that read along and follow along!  You have made this year an absolute blast for me!  Cheers to 2016!!  I can’t even wait to see where we go!

1. More personal content!  I want you to know more about my life, who Daniel & I are, and what goes on around here 😉  Whether that be discussing it after an outfit, or separate personal posts in themselves!  I want you to feel more connected and really feel like we’re friends!
2. Hair & Beauty: I did a post on my skincare routine this year [here!], but a lot of people have been asking about my hair routine/what products I use, so I want to incorporate a bit of content that includes that type of info!
3. More travel!  We plan on going to a few really fun places this year, so not only is it a goal of mine to go to those places, but to share them with you as well!
4. Home Decor:  Sharing my home feels so much more vulnerable than sharing an outfit for some reason.  Will they like it?  Will they think it looks dumb?  Haha, so silly, but so true.  Not sure why, but this year I want to break past that and feature more shots of our home and decor style here on the blog, as well as on my Instagram!
5. More Communication: I want Something Beautiful to feel like your friend and for you to feel like you can connect with me!  So, I want to encourage more engagement with you, and get to know you guys more!
