5 Beauty Products I’m Using Daily

I’ve tried a lot of products in the past, but I’m someone who totally sticks to a routine once I’ve found what I really love.  With that said, I wanted to share some of my current favorites that I’m using every single day in my beauty routine.  Most of these are tried and true, but a couple are new to me.  So I’ll tell you what I love about each product and how it’s working for me!

La Mer Moisturizing Soft Cream

Okay, extremely pricey item, but there’s nothing like La Mer’s Moisturizers.  During the Summer months, I like to use their Moisturizing Soft Cream because it’s a little lighter than the original formula.  The main ingredient is insanely good at preventing wrinkles and fine lines, and while I am not able to get Botox right now due to pregnancy/breastfeeding, I am choosing to invest in this moisturizer.  It’s definitely not something I always invest in, but is part of my daily routine at the moment for this reason.  When I’m not pregnant or breastfeeding, I typically use this moisturizer and get Botox every 6 months.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation & Foundation Brush Set

This is the only one of the five products that is brand new to my routine, but it is so good that I had to include it!  First of all, it is the best deal!  A full-size foundation and high-quality foundation brush for under $40.  That is seriously unheard of.  I’ve been dealing with hormonal breakouts since having Rhett, and so I’ve been testing out new foundations.  When I saw this deal, I had to try it.  The foundation really does last throughout the day, but doesn’t look cakey at all. And the brush is insanely soft.  I would say it is a full coverage, satin finish. I have dry skin and it wears really well without cracking at all.  Try this if you are looking for a new foundation!!  Such an insane buy!!!

Living Proof Dry Shampoo

Do I even need to write anything about this?  Gosh guys, I feel like a broken record when it comes to Living Proof Dry Shampoo, but I’m not going to stop. It’s just THAT GOOD.  There is nothing better.  I’ve tried literally almost every one on the market (not really, but it feels like it 😉) and none of them actually leave your hair feeling clean except for this one. There is definitely a trick to how I apply it, so check out this post to see how!  Please try it if you haven’t.

Tula Purifying Cleanser

I’ve been using TULA products for about 5 years now, and if I had to pick one favorite thing from their entire line it would be their Purifying Face Cleanser!  I use it every day (morning and night) and it completely removes all of my makeup. It’s eliminated the need for any sort of makeup remover or wipes.  And I’m all for eliminating steps in my routine…haha!  It’s less than $30 for a huge bottle and one bottle will last you months.  It literally costs me about the same price as any cleanser I would buy at Target with how long it lasts. You can get 20% off anything at TULA with code ‘DARYLANN’!

EltaMD UV Sunscreen

You guys know that I’m literally a crazy person about my sunscreen all year long, but especially during the Summer time.  Aside from wanting to prevent wrinkles, I have lots of freckles and pretty bad melasma.  I’m trying to prevent further sun damage as best I can, as well as early aging, and so daily sunscreen is part of my routine.  I have used this specific sunscreen for years and it goes on thin, is not greasy, and wears well under makeup!  I absolutely love it and wear it EVERY.SINGLE.DAY.  It has a key ingredient that any dermatologist will tell you to look for in sunscreen: zinc oxide.  Make sure whatever sunscreen product you are using has this main active ingredient.
