One of the things I look forward to most about Fall is the fall candles that I get to burn! They are some of my favorite scents of the entire year, and some of them I keep burning right through the holidays because I love them so much! I know this is the time of year where things start to get super cozy, and if you’re anything like me you burn candles twice as often as you do the rest of the year. So today, I wanted to share the best 5 Fall candles I have found over the years and am burning in my house right now!
And just a little tip: these make the best gifts for those people on your list that you have no idea what to get, including hostess gifts for Thanksgiving!
‘Pumpkin Clove’ by Capri Blue
This is definitely one of the most festive scents I burn this time of year and it instantly puts you in a Fall mood! It makes our whole house feel cozy the second you walk in and so it’s probably the one I burn most. I buy them a few at a time at my local Anthropologie, and this year I happened to be shopping the weekend they set them up. I grabbed a couple for me and one for my mom. I went back a couple days later and they were completely sold out! They must have had 300 when I was there on the weekend and the girl said they were gone so, so fast. They still have them available online, and I love bringing them as a hostess gift so I may order a couple more! It’s the best Fall scent without being too heavy or “caramel-y” if that makes sense 😉.
‘Leaves’ by Bath & Body Works
If you are a fan of bath & Body Works’ 3-Wick Candles, you have to try this scent while it’s out!!!! The best way I can describe it is a clean, Autumn scent that is so refreshing, but still cozy feeling. It’s so nice for places like California where we don’t really get that crisp Fall weather or leaves falling because it totally makes you feel like it! They are fairly inexpensive compared to other candles, and if you live near a store, they often do deals on them. Another great option to burn if you want your house to feel crisp, clean, and inviting during this season!
‘Honeycrisp Apple’ by Trader Joe’s
This is definitely the most affordable option of any Fall candle I’ve found! They are pretty small, but they’re only between $3-$4 and are the perfect size for a powder bathroom or guest room. I bought one just to try it out, and ended up grabbing about 5 more on my next Trader Joe’s run! If you are a fan of clean, apple scents that aren’t too heavy then you will absolutely love this one!

‘Volcano’ by Capri Blue
I figured I had to add in my all-time favorite candle to this post because it really doesn’t matter what season it is for me…I burn it year-round! This is the classic “Anthropologie” scent if you have ever been in their store, because they always have it burning. Thankfully it’s available year-round so I am constantly grabbing a couple when I run out. I burn this in our mater bedroom, family room, living room, office…pretty much everywhere! It fills the room and smells so good!
‘Spiced Cider’ by Capri Blue
This is my other favorite scent from the same company that makes Pumpkin Clove. This one is more appropriate to burn all the way through the end of the year because it can definitely be classified as a “Christmas scent” too! If you aren’t into pumpkin scents (or your husband isn’t…Daniel definitely does not care for them 😂), this is the best compromise! Fills your house with a cozy, holiday feeling without the pumpkin. And the gold canister version is my all-time favorite 😍.
