Happy Monday, friends! Today I wanted to share some of my most recent favorite things I’ve picked up from American Eagle and Aerie. I polled you guys over on Instagram a few weeks ago and so many of you voted to see more try-on hauls! I shared an Amazon try-on HERE and I got messages from a few of you saying how helpful it was, so I’m including all sizing and fit information with this try on today, too!
I hope this is helpful and you find some things you love!
This off-white cardigan is probably my favorite thing I got! It’s super slouchy and oversized; I have it in a extra small and it is still really oversized. I’m wearing it over this high-neck cotton tank and I love how it wears under a cardigan. Definitely sized up at least one size because it does run pretty small.
These mom jeans I’m wearing also run small, especially since the denim does not stretch. I had to size up in these, but the length (x-short, but I could definitely get away with a short) is awesome and the rips hit in the perfect spot. But they are super cute for spring and would look great with a ton of different tops!
This wash-red/brown color is my favorite color and I ordered it in a small to wear oversized with leggings or jeans. The olive green is a size extra-small and just fits a little bit smaller and shorter but still oversized. I would definitely wear this one with jeans and probably not leggings. The material is super soft and cozy, it feels like it’s been washed and worn so it’s really really comfortable.
This cardigan can be worn all buttoned up like a top, the way I have it on here. It’s a super soft chenille with a boxy fit and I bought this in a small just so that it wouldn’t be too short since it is cropped. It would look really cute with just a lacy bralette underneath it (like this one) but I can’t really do that right now since I’m nursing 😂
Okay I am obsessed with this long sleeve tee 😍 It’s a linen type of fabric so it’s a little bit more textured, but it’s still soft and super comfortable. I love that it is oversized and has thumbholes and a curved hem.
The jeans I’m wearing are the same fit as the mom jeans I had on above, but these are a lighter wash and one more size up. So they’re bigger in the legs, but I think it still looks cute because they are meant to be a little bit more on the loose side anyway.
This cute little vintagey looking sweatshirt is like the other washed fabrics that feels really worn in and cozy. I went with my typical size extra-small but it doesn’t fit oversized at all so I really wish I had gone up a size. It would look cute with jeans like this in your typical size, but if you prefer your sweatshirts oversized like I do, definitely go up a size.
This grey and white marled loose-knit sweater is so pretty for spring. It has a split side hem which makes it super easy to tuck into your jeans. The fit of this sweater is pretty standard, I’m wearing an extra-small but if you want it to be oversized, go up one size and I think it would still fit really cute.
This pullover is another one of my favorites! The fabric is a thicker textured beachy-knit, and it’s the same on the inside as the outside. I really love the boxy fit of it and it’s so cute with these mom jeans, but I can’t wait to wear it with shorts in the springtime.

These jeans are super stretchy and a really perfect option if you want a more minimally-distressed pair. I love that these are stretchy like a jegging and have a higher waist. If you’re between sizes, go up but they do fit really well and come in lengths from extra short to extra long. I do have to say, they kind of smell 🙊 I’ve washed them a few times and still have some of that dye smell to it. I noticed the reviews on the website said the same thing. So just something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to smells!
The plaid top I’m wearing is so cozy and soft. American Eagle has some of the softest plaids. This one in particular is a little bit thicker so it’s perfect to transition into spring, and it’s longer in the back so it’s great for leggings as well! I’m wearing it in an extra small, and it’s pretty big so I recommend sizing down.
This is another great option if it is still cold where you live. This chenille sweater is the perfect thing to wear with leggings just lounging around the house, but would look great if you needed to throw a pair of jeans on and leave the house.
This is another chenille cardigan that could be worn just to lounge or with jeans out of the house. I’m wearing an extra small and it fits perfectly. I’m also wearing the same high-neck tank as I had on in green in the first outfit and I just really love how well they layer underneath cardigans.
These jeans are a super basic dark denim but I wanted to share them because they’re at a lower price point than a designer jean. They’re more of mid-rise rather than high-rise so I sized up to a 4 short and the denim isn’t as stretchy as some of their other denim. I could have gotten away with a size 2, but these are really comfortable. If you prefer a mid-rise, you’ll definitely love these.
