You guys, is this not a Fall wonderland?! I am obsessing over all of the Fall leaves here! In case you missed it, we are in D.C. for the week exploring and soaking up the Fall season we crave in California! Neither Daniel or I have been to the capitol before, and we are loving that we finally get to see everything in person. Last night we did a Segway tour of the National Mall. Everyone recommended to check out the monuments at night, so when I saw a night tour I signed us up! And who doesn’t want any excuse to ride a Segway for three hours? So much fun!
We took these photos on Monday when we rented a car and drove down Skyline Drive. It is part of the Shenandoah National Park, and the Fall foliage is stunning! We drove about 30 miles of it and had a PB & J picnic halfway through right before we snapped these photos. Not going to lie, I was a bit jumpy any time a car would come around the bend…haha!

And I just got these knee-high black boots in the mail the day before we left on our trip! I’m in love with them because they are the perfect tall boot height for petite girls. I can’t tell you how many times I have tried to order and wear over the knee boots, but just feel like I have no legs left with them on. These are the perfect compromise and give that same “long leg” illusion!
