Happy Monday!  Hope you had a great weekend!  Daniel and I spent it relaxing in cozy pajamas and Christmas shopping for the final things on our list.  Somehow my list seems to grow and grow as December goes on and I keep shopping up until the final minutes…anyone else?

Our kitchen remodel is finally feeling like it’s getting somewhere: our cabinets get installed on Tuesday, and the appliances come Wednesday!  It’s so nice to see a light at the end of the tunnel, but having a construction zone in half of our house has made Christmas decorating pretty impossible.  We picked up a mini tree this weekend and are decorating it for upstairs just so we can have a little something (I can’t stand having no tree)!

So, about this outfit!  All black has been my go-to lately, and it’s such a great base to add a cute scarf or coat to.  This buffalo plaid scarf caught my eye because of how festive it is (I love this pattern this type of year), and I love this version that could be worn as a wrap or cape as well!  My all-time favorite black denim is currently on sale, so if you’ve been eyeing it for a while…now’s the time, girl!  And my favorite long-sleeve tees are under $20; the best basics!
