Happy Monday! Hope you all had a nice, long relaxing weekend!
Yesterday it finally cooled down for us here, gray skies and all, and we soaked up every second of it. After church, I immediately threw on a cozy Wildfox sweatshirt and leggings, lit candles (just got this pumpkin one from Anthro and I’m obsessed), and started a fire. It was heavenly!
Since it’s finally cooling down, it feels appropriate to be sharing sweaters and boots with you all! I know I’ve been posting them for a little bit now, but something about the cooler temperature makes it feel so much more real that Fall is here. I ordered this sweater back during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and it sold out so fast and was never restocked. Such a bummer, but I found so many almost identical ones at such great prices! This Nordstrom one is a little bit of a cooler toned color but is otherwise the same and looks so soft; this Loft version is the exact same color; and this one is only $22 and is literally so close to the one I’m wearing here.
This is the third year I will be wearing these Sam Edelman riding boots and they still are in such great shape. They are a super reasonable price point for real leather boots and are obviously great quality! I have them shined and cleaned up every year which helps keep them looking new, and will sometimes do it a couple times a year if I wear them in the snow or they get dirty. It’s something I started doing with all my boots a few years ago and truly makes good quality shoes look brand new each time. Every time I pick them up, I’m in shock at how they look like I just bought them! Just a little tip for prolonging the life of your nicer shoes 😉
Have a great start to your week, and thank you so much for stopping by!
