Couples Christmas Photos: Outfit Ideas

Daniel and I love to have yearly photos done so we can look back some day and remember what life was like.  [And, I am totally sure this will be taken to a whole new level when we have kids one day!]  I have to say the most difficult part of having our photos taken is deciding what to wear and how to coordinate our outfits.  I definitely know we aren’t the only ones, because I am constantly hearing the same things from my friends and family around this time of year when everyone is doing their annual Christmas card photo shoots.  So, I have attempted to make your life easier by compiling different coordinating outfit combos for you and your funny below!  If you have kids, you can springboard of these bases to create a whole family look…I’m just not there yet! 😉  From casual and laid back, to super glam (which is what we are going for this year!!), I tried to cover everything!  Let me know which look is most your style in the comments below!

Daniel and I wore a similar outfit scheme to this in some photos we took for a friend a while back (check out my Instagram for a sneak peak–@darylanndenner!)  The fur glams up the look without going too overboard, so this look can easily be shot in any location!  And, just tell me, how cute would your man look in that plaid?!

I totally envision this look photographed by a lake!  It is definitely the most casual of the looks, and can probably be created by stuff you already have in your closets!  But that blanket scarf has totally stolen my heart!

This last look is by far the most glam of all four, and one of my very favorites!  I feel like you have to do a shoot like this at some point, and I mean any excuse is a good one to wear that dress!  It’s on super sale right now, and since chances are your man has a black suit, you can use the whole budget on the dress! 😉
