Transitioning into Fall is something we do mentally way before the weather decides to cooperate with the calendar here in California! I can remember it being 90 at the end of October last year and practically begging my weather app to have the temperatures drop.
I went to my brother’s first high school football game last Friday night, and something about the new school year and football games make me crave Fall even more! And even though we won’t see the temperature drop for a while still, I’m finding ways to incorporate a little bit more of a “Fall” style into my warm weather outfits.
Last week I grabbed this camel sweater from Express out of my closet that was one of my favorites from last year (I wore it in this post HERE), and paired it with my favorite boyfriend shorts. Just the fact that I was wearing a sweater satisfied my Fall craving a bit, even if it was with shorts 😉
And just a heads up, Express is offering 40% off everything site-wide for Labor Day weekend. Below are a few of my favorites! I am definitely going to be snagging these flare jeans. Flares are typically hard for me because I’m so short that by the time I hem them, the whole “flare” part is gone. But, when I saw that these came in a short length, I knew I had to give them a try!
