Happy Monday!  I can’t believe that we are already almost halfway through August and school is starting around us this week.  On one hand it totally feels like Summer just started, but on the other I am kind of really excited  for Fall to be here!  Fall is hands down my favorite season (mostly due to the clothes 😉) and it means we are closer to the baby being here!  I just feel like this last part of the year is going to fly by with all the vacations and holidays planned, and that January will be here before we know it!  Anyways, back to the point, with Fall around the corner I wanted to share some pieces that are really reasonably priced that you can add to your wardrobe now and wear through the whole next season.

Fall transition pieces are key to look for when shopping right now, and there are tons of cute ones.  The trick is to find lightweight pieces that can be worn alone now, and layered in cooler months.  When I found this linen tank, I couldn’t pass it up to wear through the end of Summer!  But it seemed like kind of a waste if I couldn’t style it in a couple months.  So, pieces like this lightweight cardigan that’s under $100 are perfect!!  You can wear the tank now, or layer it with a cardigan in October.

This cardigan is super oversized and cute, and comes in the perfect neutrals that will go with everything you have in your closet currently.  It will look great with everything from leggings to jeans, just be sure to size down when ordering!  Here I paired it with my Madewell button-front jeans.  If you don’t have a pair of button-front jeans yet, I cannot recommend this pair enough!  I love Madwell jeans in general, but these are just so unique and cute.  They run true to size and are the perfect high-rise.  Not going to lie, I had to squeezeeee into them for this shoot, and I’m not sure if I will even be able to wear them next week when my belly grows even a tiny bit.  Kind of sad about that!

Open toe booties are also the perfect shoe to transition to Fall. I  wear these with shorts, dresses, and jeans and think they look equally as cute with just about anything!  The open toe and perforation make them totally Summer appropriate, and the color is the perfect Fall transition shade.  I am going to get so much wear out of them!
