I can’t believe it’s June, and that Father’s Day is this coming Sunday already!! Dad’s can definitely be the toughest people to buy for! My dad in particular is pretty difficult because not only does he not really “need” anything, but he doesn’t really want anything specific either…haha. And most of the things he wants are either (A) way out of my budget, or (B) things I would have no clue about purchasing. Car parts? Nope. Tools? No idea what what I’m looking at. So if you’re like me and struggle with finding something for your dad that he will really enjoy, but aren’t really sure where to start, today’s post is for you!
If your dad is one of those guys that has it all, the Amazon Echo would be such a fun gift! It will totally be something he never knew he needed (until he got it), and so fun for him. And how many of your parent’s love calling out, “Hey Siri” like mine? They will love Alexa 😉. And if he loves music, this retro record player is super clean and cool looking. It would be so nice in his office or a living room at home, and because it’s a little pricey it would be the perfect option to go in on with your siblings. Give it to him with a couple records of his favorite old bands. Dads love showing you music from “their time,” am I right?!
This suitcase is under $100 and would be perfect if your dad has to travel often for work. And if his commute is just to the office each day, this Hydroflask coffee thermos is perfect for mornings on the go! You can never go wrong with a nice button-up or a tie (both of those options are under $50!). If you are looking for a good quality brand he will love, my husband and dad swear by the New Zealand brand, Rodd & Gunn. Their shirts are a little bit on the pricier side but well worth the investment when you see the quality! My dad wears the “classic fit” and Daniel likes the “sports fit.”
And if you’re kind of at a loss for what to get him, a nice cologne set like this one which has a travel and full size bottle smells great and is always appreciated (especially by Mom 😉). Or a cool pair of tennis shoes like these that are under $50 are perfect for weekends! Wallets are always a go-to of mine for any guy on my list, and Danile’s favorite is this Bellroy leather one. It is super thin and has a “secret” card pull out, And what guy doesn’t like a Patagonia pullover? Best option under $100 in my opinion!
