Happy Fall, friends! We are well into my favorite season now, so I figured why not round-up my absolute favorite type of shoe to wear this entire season long (if not all year 😉). There are tons of super cute Fall booties out this year, and it takes every ounce of my self-control to not buy every one I see. So far I’ve invested in a few pairs and I have a couple more in my cart as we speak 😂. So hopefully sharing my favorite fall booties with you will suffice for the time being!
As you can tell, I like to stick to neutrals when it comes to booties because it allows me to mix and match them with everything in my closet. I also like to have varying heights to wear for different purposes. While heeled booties are my ultimate favorites (coming from a petite girl 😉), they aren’t always practical. So, having a pair of low booties allows me to wear them running around on an everyday basis.
The other thing I like to watch for when shopping for booties is the shaft height. Getting one with too tall of a shaft can make them difficult to pair with skinny jeans. All of these are my “perfect” height to wear with skinny jeans. The only taller one I love is this sock bootie. Sock booties have become a huge trend over the last year or so, and even though I didn’t jump on the bandwagon last year, I am thinking I may need to splurge on this pair this year. You can wear them with dresses or tucked into jeans.
My favorite pair on this whole collage is this pair by Sam Edelman. They are a super reasonable pricepoint for how many outfits you can creat with them, and the pointed toe lets you dress them up or wear them casually. I have an almost identical pair that I got last year and wore them so much that I think I have to buy this pair this year as well. The light suede is so pretty against dark skinny jeans.
Another feature I love on any bootie is some detailing along the ankle. This tends to create an illusion of longer legalize because you can see part of your ankle which separates it from the jeans and booties. These Jeffrey Campbell booties in particular that dip in the front will help create that! I love this pair as well with the side slits and stacked wood heel. But if you are more of a low heel/no heel kind of gal, then this pair is for you! The side slits will create the same illusion but you don’t have to deal with the heel. And they’re on sale!
I am in the market for a new pair of black booties this year, so I think that I will be splurging on either this pair or this pair. I love the buckle and stud detailing of this Steve Madden pair, but I can’t decide if it’s too far out of my comfort zone! This pointed toe black suede version is the one I will be going with if I end up not being able to handle the hardware of the other. The heel is just stunning!!!
Have you gotten any booties for Fall yet? Which pair are you excited to add to your cart?
