Happy Friday!! Some weeks feel like they fly by, but others just drag along…does anyone know what I’m talking about?! This was one of those “drag along” weeks for me. It most likely definitely has something to do with the fact that we haven’t worked a whole five day work week (because of Hawaii and other little trips) in the past like 4 weeks, until this week. I told Daniel last night, “People who work five days a week are no joke. This is killer.” 😂
Needless to say, I am ready to go on another trip! And this cutie little romper from Goodnight Macaroon isn’t helping suppress that at all. When she and I locked eyes online, there were no introductions before she was already in my cart. Umm…those colors?! Yes please! I tend to gravitate towards blues and other cool tones because I feel like they look best on my hair and skin combo, and this cobalt blue was no exception! Speaking of cobalts, I wore this dress on Instagram a while back and a lot of people loved it as much as I did; it’s on sale now for $28, so check it out HERE).
Anyways, this romper is the perfect lightweight fabric for summer. I wore it in Scottsdale this past weekend while we were there, and it was over 100º and still no fabric sticking to me or anything like that. Haha, gross but true! You can wear it with flat sandals (these are identical to the ones I am wearing, but no heel!), dress it up like I did here for a date night, or even over a swim suit to the pool, since the fabric is so light!
The price point is really fair for the quality (only $65!), but I would make sure if you are between sizes that you size up. Typical for rompers for me at least. Oh! And the v-neck chest has a little snap to keep it from opening up on you which I really liked and I’m sure plenty of you will be able to appreciate as well! 😉
