Happy Monday! I am so excited to share this look with you today from one of our nights in Charleston last week. It was one of my absolute favorite outfits and I couldn’t wait to wear it, so I wore it the very first night! Daniel and I are currently working on a “Charleston Guide” that will go live later on this week, so be sure to check back on Thursday for that!
I brought one pair of heels with me on the trip (you can see all the shoes I packed HERE), but I didn’t even end up wearing them! We did a lot of walking, and so I stuck with flats and sandals the entire trip. On our first night in any new city, we love to set out right away and explore it on foot. That’s exactly what we did this night, so I wore my Tory Burch Miller flip flops. I own these in two other colors, but just recently added this shade, “Makeup,” to my closet.
They matched this Free People floral maxi dress perfectly, tying in with the gorgeous blush floral print. I know I will get a ton of wear out of this dress the rest of this Summer. It can be dressed down with sandals and for a simple date night like I did here, or dressed up with heels and worn to a wedding or event. It is different than other Summer dresses I own, in the fact that the fabric is heavy. Not heavy in the sense that it is hot temperature wise, but heavy in weight. This keeps it down and makes it look a lot more expensive because of how it flows and feels. Trust me! The fabric is what makes it so pretty! It also comes in a red shade as well that would be so pretty if you are attending a Fall wedding!
Hope you have a great start to your week! Thanks for spending part of your Monday with me! xoxo, Daryl-Ann
