It’s officially Thanksgiving week, which means the holiday season is actually here! This is by far my favorite time of the year, and it’s probably because my love language is undeniably “gifts.” Giving gifts, receiving gifts, watching people give and receive gifts…I am all.about.it. Finding the perfect gift for each of my friends and family members brings me more joy than I can explain!
Unfortunately, there has to be a budget on Christmas expenses, otherwise this girl would go all out (definitely get this quality from you, Mom) 😉. The $50 and under price point is definitely my most shopped budget, and there are so many awesome choices this year, so I thought I would share it with you as the first “official” gift guide of the season (besides the hostess gift ideas that I shared last week, which you can see here).
I haven’t met a single girlfriend who hasn’t been obsessed with the J Crew quilted puffer vests [#7] for the past few years, and right now you can get one for each of your besties in a different color for under $50! Outerwear and ponchos seem to be the easiest clothing items to buy for others since you either don’t really have to worry about close sizing, or any sizing at all. This poncho [#11] is so cute and doesn’t require you know her size or play that awkward guessing game. It also comes in this lighter colored pattern, a leopard version, and this gray version that’s on sale for under $25!
For those girlfriends or sisters that are beauty obsessed, Nordstrom has three MAC eyeshadow palettes that are gorgeous for the holidays! This one [#3] is my favorite version, but I also love the warm and cool versions, too. And if she (or YOU!) hasn’t tried TULA skincare yet, buy her the Discovery Kit! With my discount code (‘darylannholiday25’) you can get it for $39 + free shipping, and it comes in the cutest travel bag!
Tech accessories are one of my go-to’s if I’m unsure what to get a friend that year, and this floral portable charger [#5] is adorable. I love that the cord is attached so you don’t have to either a) go looking for one overtime you want to use it, or b) be dealing with a 6ft. long cord on what’s supposed to be a “compact” charger. Guilty of both over here, so I know I would appreciate one of these! And these rose gold ear buds [#4] would go so well with it if you want to add-on to make a more substantial gift, or would be just as cute by themselves!
There are so many cute options under $25 as well that would be great for a co-worker, or to keep on hand for those times when you need a quick gift for someone you may have forgotten (also guilty…oops!). This Smashbox lip kit would be a huge hit for whatever girl receives it, I have and love this leopard scarf, and any Anthropologie candle is always a well-loved gift!
Below are some of my favorites in each category, all under $50! Happy Shopping!
