While I am obsessed with cute, structured tops, you can pretty much bet that while I’m sitting in my office all day working that they are not going to be my outfit of choice. I love comfortable, basic tops that are cute enough to be worn on their own with a pair of jeans as an outfit, but comfortable enough to work all day in.
My go-to brand for this type of top has always been Lush! They have the cutest basic styles and I always find myself buying the same top of theirs in multiple colors.
Every year during the Anniversary Sale they come out with a few different styles in multiple colors. This year I snagged this 3/4 sleeve lace-up back tee. The fabric is so soft that you literally can wear it with yoga pants to lounge around in. Unfortunately, this style is out of stock right now, but keep checking back because Nordstrom has been restocking some items that are part of the sale!
One of the other Lush tops I got during this year’s sale that is still available is this basic short sleeve tee. It’s the same stretchy, soft fabric and is only $16. Seriously buy every color they have in your size.
I also bought this top in black which is probably one of my favorite purchases. It can easily be dressed up for a night out with jeans and heels, or dressed down with shorts! It’s also the perfect work top that you can pair with trousers or a skirt and not have to think about what you’re going to wear on the weekdays.
