Can we just talk about the fringe on this cardigan for a second?! 😍  When I got it in the mail, I immediately threw it on and spent the whole night on the couch in it.  Not only is it ridiculously cozy,   but the fabric has a heavier weight to it which causes it to fall super crisp and pretty making it look much more put together than your typical “cozy cardigan.”

This past weekend while we were on a mini-getaway to Newport Beach, I styled it over my favorite basic white tank with this pair of booties I picked up at Nordstrom.  We pretty much spend our entire weekend shopping and eating while we are in Newport Beach, and I knew this time that a pair of black booties were on my radar.  I have this pair that I love and wore in this post on Friday, but with some outfits the high heel is a bit too formal, so I wanted something more casual.

I saw these and loved the shorter heel height; it’s still casual, but gives us shorter ladies a bit of height to help you feel just a little but more put together.  The brand, Blondo, makes all of their boots weather and waterproof, so they are a bit more expensive but will withstand the rain during the coming months!  (Not something we have to worry about too much in Southern California, but may be a huge perk for some of you!)  They even have waterproof suede options…I’m obsessed with this pair in the mushroom color!!

If you’re in the market for a pair of black booties but don’t need or want the weatherproof option, this pair is so similar and super cute!  It comes in gray, black, and brown leather and they’re under $100.
