Each year when I set out to make gift guides and ask around as to what would be most helpful to share, the resounding winner is always gift ideas for guys! They can be some of the toughest on my list to buy for with the exception of Daniel 😉) because they rarely have Christmas lists and typically will say they “don’t need anything.” So, today I’m sharing what to gift each guy in your life: husband, boyfriend, dad, brother, grandpa, and guy friends. Hopefully these ideas make your shopping a bit easier and take the mystery out of what to gift the men in your life!
You can find a small speaker or headphones within pretty much any budget, and any age will love them, making them gift-able to just about any guy on your list! If you’re looking for a splurge item for your husband/boyfriend or dad, definitely check out a SONOS speaker. Daniel and I have them throughout our house and we absolutely love them! They are great on their own, but you can add more pieces to create a whole system over time. If your brother has AirPods, definitely check out this super cool silicone case that’s under $20! It would make the perfect stocking stuffer. And if you’re looking for something a bit more “fun” definitely check out this record player/bluetooth speaker. It is a super reasonable price and would make such a cool piece for any guy to have in their room or house.
Recently Daniel and I came across the brand Mizzen+Main while searching for new work shirts for him for Fall and he fell in love! The fabric on them is so stretchy, and they’re sweat resistant and moisture-wicking, which keeps Daniel dry throughout the day 😉. And the best part for me is that they’re totally machine washable and require no ironing 🙌🏼. So…if you’re a wife, it’s practically a gift for yourself 😂. We ordered Daniel this shirt in two colors for work, and this flannel to wear with jeans on the weekends.
A couple years back I gifted Daniel a nice watch, and he still wears it to this day! If you have money saved to splurge on your significant other, definitely check out this watch. Daniel picked it out while we were shopping recently, and we both loved the classic leather band and old-school looking face. If you’re buying for someone on a tighter budget, this sleek, all-black watch is under $65. And if the guy you’re buying for is into fitness, definitely check out this Fitbit Versa watch! Looks totally like an Apple Watch, but much less expensive.
These have been one of the hottest items to gift pretty much anyone on your list for the past couple of years…and for good reason! They make such a nice gift and can be worn by any group. Last year I bought Daniel this quarter zip version in the all gray (you can see him wearing it in this post!) and he wore it over pretty much everything. It’s a great medium weight jacket to wear over just a t-shirt! This year I’m considering gifting my dad the full-zip bomber version that could easily be dressed up for a night out, or worn casually. And my brother has this fleece button-up version on his list!
This is my favorite idea for the guy that has it all! I feel like this would be the most unexpected and highly appreciated gift idea for just about any guy, but especially a dad! I don’t know about you, but my dad would love something that could lower his electricity bill each month 😂. The gift that keeps on giving! In case you aren’t familiar with them, a Nest is a “smart” indoor thermostat that learns your patterns and helps you save on heating and air. The Ring doorbell is so cool because it films your entryway when someone is there and alerts you. If you’re an online shopper like I am, this is extremely helpful to know when all your packages arrive!
For the practical guy in your life (which, let’s be honest, is probably almost every guy in your life 😂), luggage is the perfect gift! It’s also the item I look to buy a guy when they say they have everything or I am just completely stumped on what to get for them. You can scale this for literally any budget you’re working with or buying for. If you are looking for something small for a friend or bother, a cool toiletry bag is the perfect gift. Daniel has this one and loves it, and it’s only $25. A backpack is also an awesome gift, and Herschel is Daniel’s favorite company for them! This one is the one he has and loves and it comes in a ton of colors. A duffel bag is perfect for weekend getaways or college students, and this rolling duffel is so nice for the price point. If you’re looking to splurge on someone special, Daniel got this TUMI bag a couple years back and it’s his all-time favorite!
Below are tons of ideas for every guy on your list this holiday season! I truly hope this helps make it easier for you to shop for some of the people you may typically get stumped on what to buy, no matter what your budget may be!
I usually love a good gift guide because they really do steer me in a nice direction. However, it seems like everything on this one is extremely expensive. The only things under $100 were an external charger, socks and a toiletry bag. I always follow your blog and want to support you but a lot of your followers can’t afford this stuff. I just had a baby in August and I know I cannot buy any of these things anymore :(. I hope we can see some more affordable options later!
