Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe

Happy Wednesday, friends! Super excited to share this recipe with you today because it has come so highly requested.  About a year ago (or more!), I shared this homemade chicken noodle soup recipe on my Instagram Story, and have had lots of messages from tons of you since that have made it and loved it!  So, I figured I would put together a more “official” recipe because up until this point it’s just been a family recipe from my mom that I make from memory (there’s a printable/pinnable recipe card at the bottom of this post!).

We make this chicken noodle soup all of the time, especially on rainy days or when someone is sick! It’s the yummiest dinner for a cold day, and I reheat it for lunches throughout the week after we have it. Our favorite ways to serve it are with homemade grilled cheese and onion bagels (usually one or the other, but sometimes Daniel likes to have both…haha 😂).

With the new baby, it’s been so nice to have something that I make once and lasts throughout the week for meals.  So, if you’re in need of meal prepping ideas, this is awesome!  It does take quite a bit of time to make (approximately 2 hours), but most of the time you’re just waiting on the chicken, veggies, and noodles to cook and not actually doing anything to it.  Super simple!

Hope you love this as much as my family does!!  I’m making it over on my Instagram Story again today, and will save it to my highlights as well as in a video below if you want to see it made more “real-time”! Let me know or tag me if you make it!!!
