Happy Monday!  In case you aren’t yet following on Instagram (follow along here!), I just got back from a girl’s weekend in Charleston last night.  Some of my best blogging friends all flew in for the weekend and we had a much needed, and well loved girl’s trip!  We got our makeup done, took photos, ate at yummy places, and explored the cutest little city.  There’s so much charm and character in Charleston that we miss out on in L.A., and even though this was the second time I visited I loved it just as much as the first!  (Check out the Charleston Travel Guide we made HERE).

Anyways, I wanted to share this hot pink sweater with you because it is the most perfect little piece for this week in particular!  With Valentine’s Day just a couple of days away, I am thinking about wearing this during the day just with jeans to be a little “festive.”  But I wanted to show how you could easily dress it up for a more casual Valentine’s Day date night.  You may already have a hot pink sweater in your closet that you could recreate this look with, but if not this one is so nice and under $60!  The fit of it is super versatile; you could definitely even wear it to work with a skirt or slacks.

I love finding unique, fun pieces like this that make simple outfits more fun!  And speaking of unique pieces, anytime I wear these gold earrings I get what feels like 100 compliments.  They are so pretty and make just the right amount of a statement without being too over-the-top.  I wore them in this post too!
