It’s rare that I get hooked on trends because my style definitely leans more toward classic, but this Spring/Summer (can we officially call it Summer yet?!), I am absolutely obsessed with any and everything eyelet!  I haven’t worn much eyelet in years past because I always felt that it was a bit “young,” like you put cute little babies in it on Sundays, but this year there are so many feminine styles that are so far from that.  They are all grabbing my attention, whether it’s all-over eyelet like this top, or has some eyelet touches and trim like this blouse I wore on the blog last week in this post.

This Madewell eyelet shell caught my attention while I was out to dinner and shopping with one of my best friends a couple weeks ago.  We were heading out, so I literally brought it up to the register and bought it without even trying it on.  I wore it the very next day and have worn it a few more times since!  It does run a bit cropped (I’m wearing the xs), so I paired it with high waisted jeans.  And because it is see through wherever the eyelet is, so I am wearing my favorite tank top underneath.  I can’t recommend this tank enough and have it in every color!
