I have to just say that I probably deleted twice as many photos as usual while I was editing these because I was literally bent over laughing in so many. #notattractive Most of you know, but in case you don’t, Daniel takes all my photos for the blog and Instagram.
And while more often then not, the behind the scenes isn’t exactly as pretty as what you see posted [hello, that’s kind of the point 😉], in this particular case I think what you don’t see is more beautiful.
In our short four years married, I have learned that laughter is a key ingredient to a healthy marriage. There’s the age old saying that “Happiness is being married to your best friend,” and I couldn’t agree more. Being married to my best friend is the greatest blessing in my entire life!
A marriage where two people genuinely enjoy each other is so rare these days and it’s something I want people to say about our marriage. So, even though I’m not sure what in the world was so funny [I think it had something to do with the fact that I was sweating my face off and not very happy, so Daniel was making lame jokes so you wouldn’t notice in the photos…even though I totally just told you 😉], I can remember this moment so well.
Laughing through each day with my best friend makes life so much better and the bad days, not so bad. So, if I could offer one piece of advice, marry someone who you love to laugh with because lots of other things will fade, but a friendship will keep you together!
OKAY, so back to this cute little dress! I picked up this Hinge dress to take with us to New York this week since the weather is supposed to be hot and humid. Loose flow fabrics are the majority of what I am packing, and while this dress looks super cute with these Vince Camuto booties, I will most likely be pairing it with these white tennies for all the walking we are bound to be doing!
Hop you all are having a great week so far! If you had to give a piece of marriage advice, what would it be?!
