Mother’s Day 2019 Gift Ideas

I can’t believe we’re already three days into May already! This year has seriously just jumped by, especially since Rhett was born at the very beginning of it.  Crazy to think he’s going to be six months old in just eight weeks!!

Since it’s the beginning of May, that means Mother’s Day is just around the corner.  This year, Mother’s Day has a brand new meaning to me as a new mom, but I have definitely already been on the hunt for the perfect gift for my mom and mother-in-laws.  I wanted to share some of the best gifts I’ve found so far to help you find the perfect gift to spoil your mom, a mom you know, or that amazing mother-figure in your life.

Below, you’ll find gift ideas by category and budget!

Beauty & Fragrance

If your mom is a bit of beauty junky or just appreciates a really lovely perfume, a fragrance set is always such a great gift. If you’re not sure what type of scents she prefers, you can always pick up of her favorites!  This year, my mom has been talking about wanting to try out this Tory Burch set.  It’s a floral scent and comes in the prettiest packaging, all ready to gift!

A new eye shadow pallet or lipstick set is perfect for the mom who loves getting dolled up.  I love this lipstick set from Mac because the color would look pretty on tons of different skin tones, and all three pieces can be worn together or on their own.

With summer just around the corner, gifting a skincare products like this set from TULA will help her skin feeling healthy all season long.  Plus, you can use my code DARYLANN for 20% off and free shipping!

Under $50

Some of my favorite gifts in this post are under $50!  I have been loving Loft sweaters lately, and I think any mom would love this textured stripe sweater.  A kimono is a really great option if you’re not sure of your mom’s size! If your mom likes to travel, these packing cubes are the BEST!  I’ve gifted them a few times and they have been a hit every time.  Speaking of travel, you could do a themed gift and include this super cute luggage tag and the matching passport holder, or a travel cosmetics case.

For moms that enjoy homeware items, I can’t handle how cute this heart-shaped marble and acacia cutting board is 😍 This travel mug is so pretty and would be awesome for a coffee-loving mama.

Jewelry & Accessories

I have been loving the “mama” jewelry trend I’ve been seeing lately.  It is just so cute and perfect for a first time mom, or long-time mom alike!  I always love when I can find more affordable options for popular items, and I found this gold “mama” necklace on Etsy for under $60!

Shoes are one of my favorite things to gift because I feel like it’s a small way of taking care of someone.  And busy moms spend a lot of time on their feet!  A super comfortable pair of cute sneakers like the Adidas Swift Run can easily be worn to a workout class or just running errands on the weekends.  But if you’re thinking of spoiling your mom this year, I highly recommend the Tory Burch Miller flip flops.  I have three pairs and they are easily my most worn shoe during the summer!

Home & Tech

My mom recently got this bluetooth speaker and she has been obsessed with it!  The quality is really great and she was able to easily connect it to her phone, so the set up is super simple which was a total plus.  If your mom has an Apple Watch, a new watch band like this one is always a fun gift idea.

And now that spring is here and the weather is warming up, your mom might be taking more walks outside and being active.  This smartwatch by Garmin is so pretty and has some really cool features like continuous heart rate tracking and wellness tracking to help monitor your stress level, along with notifications and step counting.  The best part?  It’s super cute and comes in a ton of different colors!

I hope you found these ideas helpful!  And a big huge THANK YOU to all the mamas and mother-figures out there doing the hardest job ever (seriously!) and raising tiny humans.  It truly takes a village and I’m grateful we’ve all been able to swap tips and tricks over the last few months!
