My Kitchen Hacks

You guys know, when it comes to cooking I like to keep it super easy.  And if it takes more than 10 minutes to prep or has ingredients I’ve never even heard of then chances are, it’s not for me 🤣 I wanted to put together a little round up with some of my favorite, unique kitchen hacks plus share my favorite home gadgets and how we use them every day!

One of the best places to look for unique home items is on eBay.  I am always so stoked at how many options there are with up to 80% being brand new, never opened appliances and kitchen finds. It’s so easy to get everything you need all in one place 🙌🏻

Kitchen Aid Mixer

Stand mixers are awesome for baking but my mom recently showed me how easy it is to shred chicken using one.  Literally it takes five seconds, I don’t know how I lived so long without this 🤣 Take your cooked chicken breast, toss them into the Kitchen Aid Mixer with the whisk attachment, turn it on and your chicken instantly becomes shredded.  No forks, no burning yourself over the hot chicken, no mess all over your counters.  I will never shred chicken with forks again 🙌🏻

Breville Smart Oven

The other day one of you texted me asking what you should add to your wedding registry. I instantly said the Breville Smart Oven.  We registered for it when we got married 8 years ago. We still use it every single day. English muffins in the morning, chicken nuggets for Rhett’s lunch. And of course, brownies for dessert 😋 If you haven’t been using your Breville for full batches of brownies, you need to!  It’s way better than having to wait forever for the oven to heat up. Waiting for an oven to preheat is the worst 😂

Nest

Before we had even moved all of our stuff into this house two years ago, Daniel was already at the house installing our Nest thermostats.  I can’t tell you how many times we have been laying in bed and adjusted the temperature from our phones.

Sonos

Our entire house is hooked up to Sonos Smart Speakers 🤣 Every room, including the kitchen and loft have them, our TV soundbar is Sonos, and Daniel just finished installing them in our garage.  I love having music playing all the time. I usually turn them on first thing in the morning which is such a fun way to start the day! There are also refurbished ones which are a great way to try them without paying full price. You can find ton of other smart speakers HERE!

Thank you to eBay for sponsoring this post, and as always, all thoughts and options are my own!
