If you guys have been following along on Instagram recently, I’m sure you’ve heard me talk about how I’ve been trying out these Olay Whip Moisturizers, now fragrance-free. For the past 30 days, I have added both the Olay Whips Regenerist Fragrance-Free and the Olay Total Effects Whips with SPF25 Fragrance-Free into my skin care routines I search for the best face moisturizer for my skin. Skin care has become something I have done tons of research on and have become really passionate about over the past three years, so when Olay reached out for me to try these, I knew I wanted to review them for you!
So, after incorporating both of these into my daily routine for the past month, here are my thoughts!
Each morning, the last step in my skin care routine would be this moisturizer. Let’s just start with the fact that this has a built in SPF25. If you know me, you know that sunscreen is ALWAYS a part of my routine each morning. I’ve struggled with melasma and dark spots for the past few years and have had to go through laser treatments and tons of product trials to try to make it better. Needless to say, using a sunscreen daily under my makeup to prevent more dark spots as I get older is a huge priority to me.
This Olay moisturizer is the perfect last step in the morning because it’s two in one: moisturizer and sunscreen. It’s fragrance-free and applies like a cream but absorbs almost instantly. I love that I don’t have to wait any time at all before I can apply my makeup right on top. And, it’s not greasy!!!! This is huge for me because I feel like tons of the moisturizers I try (especially ones that contain sunscreen) are so greasy that my makeup slides around on top of it all day. Definitely not the case with this one, and it leaves you with a moisturized, matte finish. I can definitely #feelthewhip with this one!
If you are in the market for a new moisturizer or need to start incorporating one with SPF into your routine, definitely grab one of these at #Walgreens and try it out! I know you’ll love it, and your skin will thank you for the sun protection 10 years from now 😉.
Another priority in my skin care routine for the past couple of years has been incorporating anti-aging products. My dermatologist has told me that wrinkles and aging actually begin around the age of 26, so I have tried to be proactive with what I can now to delay any fine lines or wrinkles showing up as along as possible. The whole Olay Regenerist line focuses on anti-aging and providing your skin with the vitamins it needs (like Vitamin B3 which is in kale!) to help it look and feel it’s best.
I really like the consistency of this moisturizer because it is a super lightweight cream that almost turns into a liquid the minute you put it on your skin. It’s the most translucent of the two in the photo above, so you can kind of get an idea of what I’m talking about! It’s also perfect for my sensitive skin because it’s totally fragrance-free; no weird scents or perfumes that can cause a reaction.
My skin tends to be pretty dry and really needs hydration, and this moisturizer, combined with the rest of my skincare routine, left my skin feeling great every morning when I would wake up! This is definitely a moisturizer that can be used by all skin types.
Next time you’re at #Walgreens, definitely pick up one or both of these moisturizers! They’re an incredible value and really are great for any skin type!
Thanks to Olay for sponsoring today’s post! As always, all opinions are my own.
