So excited to share my absolute favorite outfit from New York Fashion Week with you!  Do you ever purposely save an outfit you like for a day when you will be seeing lots of people/doing lots of things?  No, just me?!  Feeling slightly embarrassed to admit that that’s exactly what I did with this Alice + Olivia dress.  I found it while shopping for NYFW with my mom the week before and when I tried it on her exact words were, “You have to get that!”  It was my favorite piece I brought along and I purposely wore it on Friday when I knew my days was packed and I wouldn’t have any time to go back to the room and change.  If you’re stuck in one outfit for a whole day during Fashion Week, might as well be a good one, right?

Needless to say, while I had the absolute time of my life in New York last week, Fashion Week is not for the faint of heart and (kind of like blogging/social media as a whole) isn’t as glamorous as it seems in pictures 😉.  But hey…my job is to make it look pretty!  And I feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to go.  Blisters and all!

Funny story: on the way out from one of our meetings, the girl we were meeting with asked me, “How do you walk around the city in those?”  Meaning these pumps.  I seriously just responded, “I don’t!”  I walked into one meeting, straight into my Uber, and right out to my next.  The most walking I did all day in these pumps was crossing the streets five times for these photos….haha!
