Beauty products are one of my favorite things to shop for during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because they offer tons of exclusives that you can only get during these couple of weeks! There are some of my holy grail items they sell sets of each year, which I wait religiously for because of the insane deals. Other items are released that are new to each sale, and this year has some of the best exclusives I’ve seen in all the years I have been shopping the sale.

Holy Grail Products
Let’s start with holy grail products you need to stock up on now. First, this Philosophy ‘Purity’ cleanser set they have every year, and it will last you until next year’s Anniversary Sale! It’s only $50 and comes with a small bottle to keep in your medicine cabinet, as well as a huge 32oz. refill. I keep refilling the small bottle with this pump all year long. Honestly, I don’t think that you can buy cleanser at Target for that price for a whole year!
The past few years I have sworn off tanning and laying out because of the many horror stories I’ve heard about skin cancer. And with how great and natural self tanners have become, there really is no reason to put your skin at risk. After trying multiple different ones, my favorite is the original St. Tropez bronzing mousse. I apply it with a mitt to avoid streaks and make it look more natural, and this kit that is on sale includes two of the original mousse as well as two mitts!
Two other products that rarely go on sale and you need to snatch up are a Clarisonic and these silk pillowcases. Clarisonic cleansing brushes have become so popular over the years, and they do such a good job of deep cleaning and exfoliating your skin each night. I’m always so surprised at how much more makeup I get off of my skin using these than just using my hands or a washcloth! And right now this one is marked down under $100!
And I totally thought that silk pillowcases were a gimmick (I’m the world’s biggest skeptic…haha!), until I tried one. My hair stylist recommended them, and because I trust her so much I bought this one when it was full price. Daniel has been stealing my pillow as a joke ever since because he loves how cold the fabric stays, and so when I saw this set of two on crazy sale I snagged it so he will stop stealing mine 😉.
Hair
As far as hair products go, my favorite hairdryer and straightener are both a part of this year’s sale. This t3 hairdryer is not only gorgeous, but works better than any of the (literally) thirty I’ve tried. [I wrote more about how I dry my hair and use it in this post.] And I have been using my ghd straightener since junior year of high school. I did have to repurchase it last year, but I’m not even going to calculate how many years I had my first one for…haha! In all honesty, straighteners are horrible for your hair, but sometimes they’re a necessary evil, and this one is the most gentle I have found.
I wrote about my love of all Living Proof shampoos and conditioner in this post, and you can imagine how excited I was to see this huge set included in the sale. I bought it in the store the first day, and it comes with two huge refills of both the shampoo and conditioner, as well as a travel sized dry shampoo for only $75—usually one of the big bottles is over $50!
Makeup
Each year Nordstrom releases the best exclusive palettes and makeup sets for the Anniversary Sale, and this year I couldn’t decide which ones to get because they were all so good. My favorite one I ended up getting was this Bobbi Brown Eye and Cheek palette. It has twelve eyeshadows on one side (all colors that I will use!!), and two blushes, a highlighter, and bronzer on the other. There is a big mirror in the center divided as well as a double-sided eyeshadow brush. Honestly, this is going to be my best friend for consolidating my makeup when traveling and I have used it every day since!
When I went to get my makeup done for our fifth anniversary last week, the girl at the MAC counter used this nude eye kit on my eyes and this lip kit on my lips, and I went home with both! The eye kit has the perfect neutral eyeshadow combo, a dark brown eyeliner and mascara. And the lip kit includes two universal nude lipsticks and glosses.
If you are in the market for makeup brushes, MAC is hands down the best there is in my opinion and this set includes both eye and face brushes for an insane deal. And NARS makes the best universal blush and bronzers, and this palette would be gorgeous on any skin tone from Summer to Fall!
