Happy Friday!! This morning we landed in NYC and are so excited to spend the next five days exploring, shopping, and eating our way though the city 😉
This is our second time in the city since we’ve been married, and last time we did all of the “tourist” spots and landmarks [which are all amazing!] so this time we are planning on just making plans as we go! Tonight we have dinner reservations at a well-reccomneded restaurant, Palma. Have any of you been there?
It is supposed to be extremely hot the whole time we are here, so this little Fall outfit unfortunately didn’t get to come with. I was so bummed that right after I grabbed this BLANKNYC faux leather jacket it sold out. But while online the other day, I was so excited to see it back in stock so I could finally share it with you!
I fell in love with the olive color when I saw it, but it also comes in a more classic black. I already own a black leather jacket, otherwise that probably would have been my choice. The knit front gives it a way more comfortable fit and adds a little softness to a piece that is a usually pretty “edgy.”
And if you haven’t snagged one (or three 😉) of these Topshop basic tank tops, do it now! At $30, they are such great basics and I love wearing them under jackets and cardigans in the fall and winter. The simplest outfit is one of these, a sweater and a scarf and you immediately look put together.
I just grabbed this Sole Society dot scarf while I was shopping the other day, and it came with us on our trip since it’s lightweight enough to wear now!
