If there is one thing in my closet I cannot buy enough of it is oversized sweaters. No joke, they are my vice. Every time I see one in all its boxy, drapey glory I just need it. They call my name, whether that be from the storefront, or my computer screen. So, when I was Christmas shopping and saw this little gray beauty, it quickly ended up in the dressing room with me, and right into my shopping bags. No regrets. I have gotten so much wear out of it, and totally am able to wear it even more now because of how lightweight it is. The 3/4 sleeves are perfect for this “in-between” Winter/Spring weather, and the light knit isn’t too heavy at all. Best of all, it’s drapey without being “tent-like.” I have friends of all sizes, and it looks good on all of them! And, you’re in luck because it’s 40% off right now! Something I bought this past year that I didn’t expect to get as much wear out of though were these booties. Don’t get me wrong, I think they are freaking adorable, but the heel was just kinda high for everyday wear. Or so I thought. I can’t tell you how many times I have worn these! They are so easy to wear all day long, and don’t hurt my feet at all! And I’ve been waiting for them to go on sale for what seems like the longest time now, and they finally did! The smooth leather looks so expensive, and the black paired with the brown heel is just beautiful! [Full disclosure though: Sitting on the stairs like this in them is not as easy as it looks 😉 I was literally getting an ab workout.]
Hope you all had a fun Valentine’s Day! On Saturday, Daniel made us dinner at home (he’s only done this a total of two times since we’ve been married) and it was a.m.a.z.i.n.g! No joke, best home-cooked dinner I have ever had! He made filets and roasted potatoes! So good! Last night, we had dinner at my parent’s, which is our annual tradition! Did any of you do anything fun and special?!
