Platform sneakers have been one of the biggest trends the past few seasons, and will continue to be going into this Fall as well! Anytime sneakers are in style, I am all about it and attempt to style them with just about everything in my closet. So today I wanted to share my favorite two ways to style platform sneakers and give you some tips for styling a pair yourself!
I snagged this pair by Halogen recently at Nordstrom for under $100 and can’t get enough of the cute sole. I wore them last weekend and got tons of compliments. When I was ordering, I couldn’t decide between this gray color and the blush, but I am thinking I may need to order the blush now as well.
A Simple Tee + Jeans
There is nothing more classic than a tee and jeans, and paired with platform sneakers you can make this simple combo into a trendy outfit! Knotted tees are a fun twist on just your normal t-shirt, but I spend thirty mintues in front of the mirror trying to get the most “perfect” imperfect knot. Thankfully, there are tons of tops out now that have the knot done for you, like this one for $22 from Nordstrom!
When styling your platform sneakers with jeans, make sure you wear a pair that hits right at your ankle bone. Having a little bit of ankle showing makes sneakers look so much more stylish with jeans.

A Dress
Wearing platform sneakers with a dress is hands down my favorite way to wear them! There’s something so 90’s about it, and I kind of love it. This $56 dress is made out of t-shirt material and fits just right. I own it in three colors and wear it with everything from sneakers and a cardigan (like I did here) to heels for a night out!
Don’t think you can only pair sneakers with jersey dresses though! They look so cute with even dressier fabrics like this dress that’s also under $100. Try dressing your dresses up with heels and down with sneakers to get more use out of them!
