Happy Wednesday!  When you are reading this, Daniel and I will officially be in Italy…eeek!  I am so excited to explore this beautiful country that has been on my travel bucket list for such a long time!  It is both of our first time in Europe and we couldn’t be more excited.  I am going to take you guys along via Instagram (so be sure to follow along HERE) every step of the way through Stories and posts!  And I am sure that I will plenty to share when I get back about our trip.  But, today I wanted to share one of my favorite pieces that I packed for our trip: this printed kimono.

When I am packing for a trip, especially this one that is pretty long, I always start with the staples: blue jeans, white jeans, white cami, denim shorts, etc.  From there, I like to find pieces that I can layer with my staple pieces to create multiple outfits that look completely unique over the course of my trip.  That’s exactly what I did here with this printed kimono!  The white jeans and cami were already packed, and all I had to do was pack this super small and lightweight kimono to create another outfit.  This kimono can also be worn over my swimsuit with denim shorts as a cover-up on one of our beach days on the coast!

Versatility when packing is so crucial to making the most out of my suitcase space, and little tips like this really help!  Not only when traveling, but also at home.  Maximizing your wardrobe with pieces that take zero thought and create cute outfits with staples you probably already have is such a win!
