I’m pretty much convinced that living near L.A. is the greatest place in the world to live. We travel places and visit other cities often, and while I love them, I have never been any place that I would rather live than here! Daniel and I have always thought the idea of living in a “big city” like NYC would be so fun, but we would only want to stay for a year or two, and then come back home ;). We love it here because you can honestly do anything you want, and it is less than an hour away.
This past weekend, we spent Saturday down in Santa Monica at the Third St. Promenade shopping, eating, and just walking around. The weather was beautiful [heyyy, 75!], so I wore this little dress and cross-body combo. On Saturdays I don’t really like to spend a ton of time planning out what I am going to wear, so this dress was perfect to just throw on and go. I know that come summer, it will be a staple for sure. And this cross-body is my lifesaver. You have probably seen me wear it a zillion times, but that’s because it’s so stinking practical. It was a given that we would be walking a lot on Saturday, so I didn’t want to have to carry a bag…and plus, you need your hands free to shop! Whenever I travel, I just throw it in my carry-on tote, and I have it as an extra bag when we get there. My mom, sisters, and I all have this bag, so I can most definitely say that it’s worth the price!
Some of our other favorite “L.A. Spots” are The Grove, Rodeo Drive, Downtown Pasadena, & The Americana at Brand. On our free weekends, we usually pick one and head out for dinner and some shopping. The atmospheres are so fun at all of them, and each one is a little bit different! What are your favorite fun L.A. spots to visit?
