The older I get the more I see my closet transitioning from fun colors and patterns to clean neutrals.  Not that there’s anything wrong with fun colors and cute patterns (I definitely buy them from time to time!), I’ve just noticed that over the past few years I gravitate toward anything timeless and neutral.  They make your closet so versatile because you can pair each thing with almost any other or a cute and “put together” outfit.

This lightweight cardigan from Nordstrom has been one of my favorite items for Spring, and I can’t even count the number of wears it has gotten over the last few months (see it here + here).  It pairs so well over tops, tanks, and dresses, and will be perfect on Summer nights.  I love how it looks with this striped peplum tank.  How cute are those buttons up the front?  This is the perfect work-to-weekend layer, and I think it would look just as pretty under a blazer to the office.

Nordstrom has so many cute new Spring pieces out right now that I am crushing on.  I’ve ordered this dress, this top that I featured on my Instagram Story, and these boyfriend jeans that are under $100 just in the last week alone!

And just throwing this out there because I have gotten so many questions regarding petite frames and jeans this past week (I’m 5’1″!), I buy all of my jeans from Nordstrom online and then bring them into the store after I was them, because they hem for free!  And this girl has not met a pair of jeans that haven’t needed to be hemmed.  “Crop” + “Ankle” length to me just mean: “You’ll only have to cut 5 inches off rather than 10″…haha!  Just a tip for all my fellow petite ladies out there!
