Summer Shoes Under $100 + Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Every Summer I find myself needing to buy new sandals.  Okay, maybe need is too strong of a word, but in my defense Summer shoes don’t seem to hold up as well as the shoes I reach for in fall or my winter boots.  Probably because during the Summer I literally alternate between the same pair of sandals and tennis shoes every other day 😉

Because of that, I wouldn’t say I’m one to “invest” in shoes that I wear during Summer months.  My sandals are going to look a little haggard, and my white Converse are going to be gray within two months no matter what I spend on them, just because of the sheer fact that they are worn so often!

The other day when I was looking online for a new pair of sandals [I’m ordering these!], and I saw so many cute options that it was hard to choose!  When I look for sandals, I typically apply a filter that only shows sandals under $100 and go from there.  It’s no secret that I love shopping at Nordstrom, and this is one reason why!  They make it so easy to only see what’s in your budget.

Just a side note: If you are looking for an investment pair of flip flops that will last you more than one season, THESE are the only pair I have found, and I love them so much that I have multiple pairs.

And speaking of Nordstrom, in less than a week their Anniversary Sale begins [a.k.a the greatest sale of the entire year].  No joke, better than Christmas.  In case you aren’t familiar with the Anniversary Sale, Nordstrom takes all new merchandise (a lot of items for fall and winter) and marks them down for a short time.  When the sale is over, the prices go back up.

There’s a special period called “Early Access” where Nordstrom cardholders get to see and purchase the items before the sale opens to the public.  This is pretty much essential since the best items always sell out within the first couple of days!

So, get ready ladies, and if you aren’t a cardholder make sure you sign up now.  If you don’t want need another credit card (🙋), you can get the debit card like I have, which just hooks to your bank account but still allows you early access and rewards.  You can learn more about the different options and sign up HERE.
