The Best Fall Candles
As soon as October comes around, whether it’s 100º like it was yesterday or an ideal 65º, I can’t wait to break out my Fall candles. There is something about Fall scents that instantly make our home feel more cozy and ready for the holiday season! I have a few favorites that I repurchase every year, but inevitably I find new ones I love too.
I’m sure my obsession with candles is easily apparent from the photos of our coffee table. I keep a tray full of them and light whichever scent I’m in the mood for every evening when Daniel gets home from work. Recently my favorite has been this ‘Spiced Cider’ scent by Capri Blue. It has a spiced apple scent that is so yummy! Capri Blue also makes my favorite year-round scent, ‘Volcano,’ that I keep a room spray of as well for quick refreshes.
While I was grabbing these staples at Anthropologie a couple of weeks ago, I came across this Voluspa ‘Makassar Ebony & Peach’ scent. And while it’s not really a “Fall” scent, it is extremely fresh and clean smelling. I love burning it in our master bedroom and in the mornings. And since I first purchased it three weeks ago, we have gone through one full candle and repurchased it!
There are always great budget friendly candles I find at Target during the Fall, but this year has to be my favorite! I found this gold mercury glass pumpkin candle for only $15 and originally thought it was just a super cute Fall decoration. The scent is ‘Friendsgiving,’ and has that pumpkin, brown sugar, caramel smell we love to burn this time of year! It also comes in ‘Autumn Wreath’ and ‘Pumpkin Spice’ as well.

I adore this post, I love love love buying candles and trying out new scents! The one staple I always have in my home is DW Home Smoked Birch and Myrrh. I originally bought it from Home Goods, but have never been able to find it again, so I recently broke down and ordered it in bulk from their website. It is the most clean smell and it just lovely when you have guests over. I’m definitely buying that pumpkin candle from Target, that is too cute to have on hand for Harvest!
