Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo
Hands down my most popular selling item of 2018 was this Living Proof Dry Shampoo! And for some reason, I am oddly proud of that 😂. Honestly if there is one product that makes my days/life easier, it is this one! Which is why I guess I’m so glad that it was the number one product. Because that’s my ultimate goal over here: to help make your life and shopping a bit easier and more fun! I can’t tell you how many messages I received from girls saying that they tried my dry shampoo routine and it legit “changed their life.” Sounds so funny, but honestly adding 30 minutes to every morning by not having to wash or dry your hair is life changing! Tory Burch Crossbody Wallet
I grabbed a second one of these Tory Burch crossbody wallets during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and it is easily was my most worn bag of the year. I think I am going to love it even more once the baby is here because I won’t want to be carting around a purse and a diaper bag. This way, I won’t have to fish through my diaper bag for my wallet/keys, and everything will be super easy! My favorite parts about this bag are how lightweight it is, and how there are credit card slots built in, so there’s no need to actually even have a wallet!
Thread & Supply Fleece Jacket
I think the reason this was a top item of 2018 is pretty obvious. I mean, you can practically feel how cozy it is right through the screen…haha 😂. The outside of this sweatshirt is the softest wubby knit fabric that literally feels like the coziest blanket, and the inside is a super soft jersey knit. I love that there’s a jersey lining on the inside because it is soft against your skin and helps it lay flat against your clothes. It comes in both the full-zip version which I have, as well as the pullover version that my mom has and loves. These make the perfect gifts because who doesn’t like to be cozy, and I have given them as birthday gifts on many different occasions. It is my favorite “throw-on-and-go” jacket and I wear it everywhere from over workout clothes to causal dinners with Daniel!
Karen Walker Super Duper Strength Sunglasses
If I’m being completely honest, sunglasses are hard for me to find. I just don’t tend to like how most frames look on my face 🤷♀️. However, these are a completely different story. They are my tried and true, and I have three pairs that I wear daily. I don’t really even own any other pairs and just stick to these in the black and tortoise versions. They are a little pricey, but they’ve been one of my top 10 sellers for two years now because they are so good that they’re worth it! Not too sure if I will ever find a pair I love as much as these!!!
Leith Cocoon Cardigan
Each year, I go on the hunt for the best basic cardigan for you guys, and this Leith cocoon cardigan was definitely the winner in 2018! I bought it in three different colors, and it is the perfect cardigan for just about anything and any occasion. The ribbed fabric makes it so cute, and the cocoon cut makes it a little more stylish than just a plain pocketed cardigan. If you’re a long-time reader/follower, you know how much I love maximizing your wardrobe and finding pieces that can be worn for multiple different things. The reason I love this cardigan so much is exactly that! It can very easily be worn to work, as well as just with a plain tank, jeans, and booties for a cute, casual weekend outfit! Snag this while it’s on sale because you will wear it over and over!
Nadri Small Geo Pendant Necklace
I am not one to typically purchase jewelry for myself, other than the occasional statement earrings. Most of the jewelry I wear are pieces given to me by Daniel for events or occasions. I wear my wedding rings daily, as well as the diamond earrings he gave me as a wedding gift, and that’s pretty much it. However, while I was shopping with my mom one day, we came across this cute dainty necklace, and I loved how simple and high quality it looked! And for $50, I figured I would give it a try! You guys have loved it as much as I have this past year, and I never take it off! I have the white gold/silver version, and it has held up so well (showers and all!).
Sam Edelman Caprice Knee High Boots
Surprisingly, this was the only shoe that made the top 10 list this past year, but I am not surprised it was this one! This Sam Edelman tall boot is such a great basic that literally goes with everything. They instantly dress up even the most basic of outfits and make them cute! I’ve had previous year’s versions of these boots, and honestly they get better every year! The coloring of this year’s boot is my favorite by far, and the block heel makes them super manageable to walk in. I wouldn’t say that they are as comfortable as a flat boot (pretty obvious 😂), but I can definitely wear them all day! If you are short like me, they still are knee-high, without awkwardly covering part of your knee. They are a great investment boot that you’ll wear for years, and they’re currently on sale! Snag a pair now! Sizing tip: These run true to size, but if you want to wear thick socks with them or are typically between two sizes, size up.
Aerie Bralette
I crack up that a bralette made the list this past year, because in previous years I don’t think I’ve shared bras at all. And here we are with this one as one of the top 10 bestsellers of 2018! Anyways, I’ve gotten so many messages since I started sharing this one a few months back from girls of all shapes and sizes saying that it is the only bralette they can wear! It surprisingly is actually supportive, and is lightly lined. The lace straps are a little thicker than your typical bralette, but it looks so cute with a little bit showing with an off-the-shoulder or wide-neck sweater! They are always on sale, and typically right around $25, making them a total steal! If you are in the market for a new one, or have tried bralettes in the past but haven’t found one that works for you, try this one! I think you will love it!!!
AG ‘The Legging’ Ankle Jean
These are my favorite jeans of.all.time, and have been for years! I think they make the top 10 every single year just because of the amount of times I wear them to be completely honest 😂. That being said, they are pretty pricey for a pair of jeans, but you will definitely get your money’s worth in cost per wear. Whenever a girl messages me about wanting to invest in a pair of designer denim and isn’t sure which pair to get, I always recommend this style. They are the perfect basic jean with a classic fit. Not too high rise, but not low either, and are skinny all the way to the ankle. Target Project 62 Metal Frame
I was so excited to see that these gold frames were one of the top sellers of 2018 because it’s the first home decor item to ever make the list! Last year, I really started sharing more of our homes with you guys after getting lots of requests to do so, and I have loved it!!! I used nine of these gold frames in our entryway in the 11×14 size (you can see them HERE). I printed photos at Costco, and filled them with photos of us & our extended family. They make me so happy every single time I walk in our house, and everyone always stops and asks about them! They really are beautiful frames, and come in three sizes that you can either buy alone, in a group like I did, or mix with other styles of frames on a gallery wall. The big question is how long it will take me to fill all nine frames with photos of our new little guy 😂.
