What to Wear to a Graduation
Tis the season of graduations and parties galore! I’m sure by now you’ve received multiple announcements and invites, and your fridge is filling up with the cutest cap and gown photos like ours is 😉. My little sister is graduating from college next weekend from my alma mater (shoutout to little Biola University!) and I can’t believe she’s done already! Mostly because that means I’ve been out of college for FIVE years. How is that even possible?!
With so many invites on the calendar, it can be tough to find multiple outfits to wear, not to mention that it can get expensive really quick. So, today I’m rounding up a bunch of dresses that won’t break the bank, and will be the perfect options whether you are the graduate or the attendee. Most of them will work for multiple occasions like bridal showers and baby showers as well, so you can get more than just one wear out of them!

During the Summer months, I love to go for lightweight fabrics; especially during graduations because we all know that it can feel like a million degrees sitting in the sun for over two hours! This floral midi dress (#1) is only $55 and comes in two different color options. It will look cute with a simple pair of slide sandals (like shown in the photo) or dressed up a bit more with heels. It’s casual enough that you can continue to wear it all Summer long, and out to dinner with a denim jacket thrown over!
My favorite option is this bow-back blue and white dress (#2)! I can’t get enough of bows and ruffles, and this dress has them both combined into one. And if you are looking for something under $50, this dress is a closet staple that comes in four different colors, and can be worn over and over again!
