Happy Wednesday! How cool is that? First day back to work is halfway through the week; honestly it doesn’t get better! We had the absolute best long weekend relaxing with friends and family. We didn’t have any plans and I spent all day yesterday laying by the pool re-reading my favorite book, Redeeming Love.
Recently I’ve been receiving lots of requests for workwear inspiration, and not going to lie, that can be a tough one for me because I rarely dress business casual. Ripped jeans and a cute top is what 90% of my daily outfits consist of, and over the past year my black slacks and pencil skirts have been pushed to the back of my closet. But when I saw this ruffle sleeve top at Anthropologie, I knew I had to share it with you because not only does it fit my casual style, but it can easily be dressed up and worn to work.
The henley button-up style makes it professional enough to wear to the office, but the ruffle is so stylish and makes it fun enough to wear on the weekend. Personally I didn’t like wearing sleeveless tops to work, which can be tough and hot during the Summer, but the fabric of this top is so light and airy that it’s not an issue at all! Heads up though, because it is so lightweight, it is a bit sheer. I am wearing this tank top in the nude color underneath.
I paired it with my favorite jeans (of course!), cognac heels, and bag, but I think the blue and white stripe pattern would look so cute with khakis if you were wearing it to the office.
Thanks for spending part of your Wednesday with me! xoxo, Daryl-Ann

That shirt is so cute! I love the fabric and texture of it. I definitely need some nicer shirts in my wardrobe. My style is super casual so it mostly consists of lots of different tshirts. They are just so comfortable and easy.
Hope you have a great day!
