Current Wishlist: August 2018

Its been a while since I have shared a current wishlist with you guys!  And since mine is about a mile long lately between new home items, baby stuff, and of course things for myself, I thought now would be the perfect time to share!  Quite a few of these things have already found their way into my “cart” 😉, so don’t be surprised if you see me share them on the blog here in the next couple of weeks.  And while I am planning on sharing a lot more about the new house in the coming weeks here on the blog as well, I hav been doing updates on my Instagram Story, so don’t forget to follow along over there to stay up to date!

At the top of my current wishlist is this outfit for our new baby boy!!  If you’ve been following on Instagram over the past couple of weeks, you know that I have an obsession with Disneyland right now and constantly want to go.  I’ve talked Daniel into it a few times already, but every time we are there I can’t help but think about how excited I am to bring our little guy along next year!  Even if all he will be able to do is sit in the stroller and look cute in this outfit…haha!

And speaking of the baby, I have officially hit that awkward stage of pregnancy where my old jeans do not fitbut maternity jeans are too big.  I asked you guys on IG what your solutions to this were, and the top two most popular answers were the hair tie trick and a BellaBand.  So I immediately ordered this BellaBand because the hair tie trick just isn’t working for me.  (If you are curious what the trick is, you can see how to do it here).  I am super excited to try the band out, and hopefully it will let me wear all my favorite jeans just a little longer.  However, I did break down and order a pair of maternity jeans last week.  They are my favorite and most comfortable by far, so I may splurge on another pair!

I can’t really say that these sandals are “on my wishlist” anymore because they are really “in the mail” hahaha!  I couldn’t resist that platform, and I love the camel color.  Clearly you can see from this collage that I have a thing for camel everything right now, and this shawl is way up there on the list.  It’s super inexpensive (only $25!) and think it will look super cute over this dress that I have in tons of colors.

Tie front shirts are everywhere right now because of how cute and simple they are, but most seem to be long-sleeved.  This option is a super cute short sleeve version that’s under $35.  It comes in a few colors, but the white is definitely my favorite!  It may soon be in my closet along with these sunnies.  They are my favorite shape for my face (round!), and under $100 which is significantly less than what I paid for my favorite pair I’ve had for years.

And as far as the new house goes, we are really in the market for new, larger rugs because the areas we have to fill are so much bigger than our old house!  Our 8×10 rugs look so small in the new space and just aren’t going to cut it anymore.  I have my eye on this Pottery Barn rug that’s currently on sale and am hoping to grab it soon!  But I think this faux fiddle leaf fig tree will be the perfect addition and I can’t kill it 😉.  Win-win!

What’s on your current wishlist?!

I love all of these pieces! Especially that leopard print sweater, I think I am going to need that one too.
