Anyone that knows me for one single week knows that my favorite day is Friday. Hands down. Yes, more than Saturday or Sunday. There’s just something about Fridays that make them so fun. Just think about it…everyone is always happy on Friday. It’s like every person you encounter on Friday has a tiny bit of excitement in the back of their mind that automatically puts them in a good mood. [Okay, really why am I talking about this on a Monday…]
I have officially deemed this dress as my “Friday dress.” That could totally be because I have worn it the past three Fridays in a row, but still, it completely fits the Friday mood. It’s so gorgeous and cheery, and literally gets more compliments than any other article of clothing I own. The red is so fun and pretty without being too bright, and is really mellowed out by the taupe embroidery. But, if red’s not your thing it also comes in a black option and a white option which are equally as pretty!
I wear it straight from the office out to dinner with Daniel and I feel totally cute and comfortable all day. It’s fully lined [hallelujah!], so it’s not see-through in the slightest, and it comes about an inch above my knee so I don’t feel funny wearing it to run errands in. I sized up one size to get a really slouchy look, but if you want a little less room, order your normal size!
I love it with these lace up chunky heels for a night out (they’re under $100!), but the majority of the time I throw on my favorite flip flops (the “Sand Patent” color matches the embroidery to a tee) and go.
And I’m sure you can believe it, but this dress looks so much better with a tan, which I should get on ASAP 😉
Hope you all have a great start to your week! Thank you so much for reading!
