Free People Dress in Positano

Happy Monday, ladies!  We are home from Italy and officially back in action.  I apologize for the lack of posts last week, but we were fully soaking up the last few days in Italy!  And let me tell you, jet lag is a real thing…haha.  Why does it seem to hit you so much harder on the way home?!  I was hoping it would be as easy to switch back as it was going there, but no such luck.  Anyways, we are back to normal and I am so excited to share one of my favorite outfits of the trip with you today!  I wore this embroidered Free People dress in Positano and it was perfect for date night!

I love the gorgeous embroidery on this dress and the smocked hem on the shoulders and arms.  The colors are so fun for Summer.  But I have to say, my absolute favorite aspect of this Free People dress is the way it twirls and flows!  I feel like such a little kid twirling around in it, but you can’t help it as soon as you put it on!  The lightweight fabric isn’t see-through at all (it’s fully lined), but is super light and breathable for hot Summer days and nights.  I think it would be the perfect dress to wear to any sort of shower this Summer.

I’ve been getting tons of requests to share more info and blog posts specifically about our Italy trip, and I am excited to say that the first one is coming this Wednesday!!  It will cover the first part of our trip, Florence & Tuscany, and then I will have Positano and Rome to follow!  These photos were taken at our hotel in Positano and it was so beautiful!  Can’t wait to share more with you, so stay tuned!
