Free People Dresses

One of my favorite pieces to buy every time that Spring rolls around are new Free People dresses! It’s been that way for the past three-or-so years, and there really is nothing like them. The cuts and fabrics that Free People uses are truly unmatched in the lightweight, gauzy dress category and they make for the best “throw-on-and-go” pieces. During the Summer, if I ever want to look super cute and put together, but don’t want to take any time to plan an outfit: a Free People Dress it is!
I dress mine up and down! If you pair them with wedges like I did here, they make the cutest date night options, as well as the perfect thing to wear to a baby or bridal shower. During the week, I usually just throw them on with some flat sandals or flip flops and call it good! Comfortable, cool, and cute…the three things everyone desperately is looking for in a dress during the Summer!
I typically pick one up in early Spring, and I recently ordered this embroidered one and love it! The embroidery is gorgeous, and super high quality as is always the case with Free People dresses. But, what I probably love most is the sleeves! They have the cutest ruffles without being “over the top” or obnoxious. And because they fabric is so soft and flowy, you don’t even notice it! And while I can’t speak to the quality or fabric of it, I found this dupe that looks almost identical to this dress but is HALF the price!!! I ordered it in the black color, so I will keep you posted on what I think!
I wore them here with my favorite Marc Fisher wedges that I’ve had for the past two years. Don’t they still look brand new?! They definitely are an investment, but well worth it in my opinion!!
