First of all, there are SO MANY good sales going on right now!!  Take advantage of them and get some early Christmas shopping done for yourself ;).  But really…I’m, going to start putting together Holiday gift guides and ideas for you, so shoot me an email or comment of what you want to see!  It’ll make your Christmas shopping so easy!

Well, back to this outfit.  I feel like black and blue are two of those colors that you “just don’t mix,” but honestly, I couldn’t think that was farther from the truth!  Black and navy look so crisp together!  It gives your outfit a little softer look than just all black, but gives you that “dressed up” look.  And, you need a navy gingham in your closet!  It is such a staple that I find myself reaching for often.  (My favorite pairing is with a military jacket like this one or vest like this!)  And while we are on the topic of what you need in your closet, this faux fur vest should be #1 (and here is a less expensive version for under $50!).  But seriously.  It is so easy to wear and will make everyone think you actually planned your outfit out weeks ago ;).  Throw it over a sweater like this one that’s my new favorite (and under $25!), pair it with jeans and riding boots, and voila!
