We made it to Friday!  And what better way to celebrate than with a little outfit like this one?  How fun and classy is this black lace slip dress?  It’s under $100 and the perfect date night or girl’s night out option, and just a little sassier version than your typical LBD.  It has pretty spaghetti straps and a super cute “v” back that you can’t see because of the jacket, but would make it gorgeous alone as well.  Just a head’s up though, it does run a little small and short.  I am wearing the xs here and am 5′ 1″ for reference, but ended up exchanging it for a small.

Thursday nights are typically our date night (best early start to the weekend!), and while I usually don’t get too dressed up for them, I’m trying to make it a point over the next couple of months to do so.  There’s something so important about getting all done up and pretty whether it’s your first date, or you’ve been married for fifteen years!  I want to make it a habit of ours!
