For the past few years, Southern California has been in a drought, but after this past month I am pretty sure we’ve gotten enough rain to make up for the entire past three year’s worth.  In the beginning I was kind of loving it, but now I’m pretty much ready for it to just go away and for sunny weather everyday to return…haha!  Needless to say, we typically don’t get lots of opportunities to wear fun coats and jackets, but this year with so much rain forecasted, I purchased a few pretty (Olivia-Pope-inspired 😉) coats.

This blush pink trench coat caught my eye the second I saw it on the site, and when I received it, it did not disappoint!  The quality is absolutely amazing and it isn’t too heavy for “California cold,” but can easily be layered as well.  I wore it over my favorite classic cashmere blend sweater from Banana Republic.  The cut and fit of this are so classic, and for a cashmere blend it is so reasonably priced!  It comes in tons of color options, but I love the taupe color because it goes with everything.
