Happy Monday! I’ve gotten a ton of requests lately to share more workwear, so today I’m so excited to share tons of cute things I found from Loft. Loft is always my go-to for workwear because they have such a great mix of trend and classic pieces that are super easy to take from work into the weekend, plus- they carry petites! 🙌 I’m super excited to share how to get the most out of your workwear by styling some of these pieces casually with jeans and more casual shoes.
Let me know if you’ve been enjoying the weekly try-on hauls, because I’ve been having so much fun doing them and getting back into fashion post-pregnancy! If you want to catch up on some of my other try-on posts, you can search them on the blog, or find my most recent one HERE!
The leopard top I’m wearing is a fun, trendy work appropriate top. It’s made of this thicker, structured knit with a puff sleeve detail so it’s great for this lingering cold weather or if you work in a chilly office. This top would also be super cute with jeans and loafers for a more casual look.
The Skinny Fit Ankle pants I’m wearing have the cutest little gold button details, but they run on the small size. They’re super fitted and narrow in the leg, so a size up might work better if you’re in a more corporate office environment.
This layered top is another option that looks really cute with dark-wash jeans. Loft does these layered-look tops really well. This one has a structured 3/4 sleeve top with a flowy chiffon bottom so it’s just one top. It’s definitely appropriate for work if you paired it with grey or black pants.
So this top is definitely one of my favorite things out of this entire haul! This peplum top is so simple and cute and is made of really nice fabric so it’s super perfect for work or the weekend. It fits great, but it is a little sheer with the dark jeans I’m wearing. You could definitely wear a nude cami underneath to fix that, though!
The pants I’m wearing are the same exact fit and size (2P) as the pair with gold buttons that I shared above, but these fit way better! I would definitely say stay true to size in these. I dressed this outfit up with a herringbone blazer that can easily be dressed down and worn on the weekend with jeans.
This leopard print blouse is a little more of a classic button-down work blouse. The sleeve have a really cute billowy fit and the buttons are functional so you could button as many up as you felt comfortable with which is awesome. I think it looks really cute with just a pair of black pants.
You could easily take this top into your weekend-wear by knotting the bottom and pairing it with jeans and wedges.
I wanted to include a dress in this try-on since it’s about to be spring. It’s a cute little faux wrap so it has a hidden zipper in the back. I’m wearing a 2P and I’m 5’1″. If you’re 5’3″ and under, I would say the petite sizing would fit well to wear to work, but if you’re over 5’3″, you could get the regular sizing so that it’s long enough to wear to work. The neckline and cute cap sleeves make this dress the perfect option for church, too!
Definitely a more casual, not-so-work-appropriate cardigan here 😂 But I couldn’t not share this cozy little striped cardigan! It has a drapey, open front with a hood in the back and it’s a thin tee-shirt material which makes it really cute for spring paired with shorts or jeans like I have on here.
The tee I’m wearing underneath is totally work-appropriate, though! It’s a thicker, ribbed material with slightly longer sleeves. I’m wearing an XS and it fits great without being tight. It would look great paired with a blazer and pants.
The next top is strictly workwear but I wanted to share them if you’re hunting for more traditional workpieces. The fabric is really pretty on this one and the sleeves have a thicker cuff which makes it a little bit more unique for a basic pieces.
The pants I’m wearing have this really cute little tie waist and are a blue woven material without looking like denim, so it’s really perfect for an office setting. The fit I’m wearing is the “slim” and they’re still my size (2P) but on the more conservative side. You can see how they skim my legs rather than the material being a super skinny fit.
The last piece I have for you is this really cute pink ruffled blouse! The fabric is beautiful and the details with the ruffles are so fun and girly. I’m wearing it tucked into the black skinny fit pants I wore earlier and I think this outfit is perfect for work!
