Happy Monday!  In case you missed in on Instagram, we are in Washington D.C. for the week!  Neither Daniel or I have ever been to the capital, so we figured we needed to check it out.  And I cannot get over this Fall weather!  When we left L.A. it was a “chilly” 90º, so needless to say, we are soaking in the cool temps.  And don’t even get me started on the colors and the leaves.  It’s a California girl’s dream, and I think I have decided we need to make a “fall” trip every year to soak it all in.

For our trip, I brought along this Madewell cardigan that I have in two colors.  It is definitely the most comfortable cardigan I own, and it pairs well over everything.  I’ve worn it with everything from dresses and sneakers to jeans and a cami like I did here.  This cami is one of my current favorites because the v-neck isn’t too low.  Finding camis that stay up and don’t slide down can be a big challenge, and this one is perfect.  And because of the straps, you can wear a normal bra rather than having to wear strapless!

I also brought these pink suede loafers that might as well be called slippers.  They are the most comfortable shoes I own, outside of sneakers, and I am currently looking to buy them in the chestnut color.  If they ever come back in stock in my size, I am grabbing them!  They are definitely a “splurge” but so well worth it in my opinion.
