Whenever I travel somewhere, I try to not stand out as a tourist too much. I mean, obviously fanny packs are not a part of the equation, but typically I wouldn’t reach for a bright, Hawaiian floral print when going to Hawaii. But, when I laid my eyes on these shorts from Show Me Your Mumu, all bets were off. I couldn’t care one tiny bit if I screamed “tourist” from across the hotel ;). I had to use so much self-control to just buy the shorts, because how freaking cute this pattern in the top, dress, & romper?! They will get so much use this summer by the pool or to the beach, and they could be dressed up really cute too with some heeled sandals like these. However, the first night we were here I got so many blisters from the shoes I wore that I have had to resort to these flip flops [my fave!] for the rest of the trip! Hey, at least you can get away with a cute dress and flip flops for dinner in Hawaii!
We took these photos at the Grand Wailea on Maui, and the grounds were just stunning! A friend had told me to visit there and just walk around because just being there is definitely is an experience in itself. I can’t wait to recap our trip for you in the next week or so! We have done so many fun things, and so much relaxing at the resort. While laying by the pool I read the book Eligible that one of my Instagram followers recommended, and I have to recommend it to you! It’s like a modern-day Pride & Prejudice, and the perfect vacation or plane-ride read. We’re headed home from Hawaii this morning, and while I’m sad to leave, it’s pretty cool to come home on a Friday…hello weekend!
